The latest tome in the Save the Cat! series covers how to write for the Young Adult genre. As StC moved to Ten Speed Press, we sought cohesiveness across the new additions. The new book feels like a little sister to Novel. The cover distinguishes itself from its predecessor by its bold blue color block, while keeping a layout and look that ties the two together. The original cat is ever-present but this book needed a YA flare, so the YA Novel typeface came to be. The same is true of the interiors of the two books—united by a shared format, set apart by handwritten elements.
